Stuart Dee is an Enterprise Architect and technology strategist with over two decades of experience leading digital transformation across banking, capital markets, e-commerce and the funds industry. He is the author of Practical IT Architecture: A Concise Guide to Effective Practice and formulator of the OAT Framework, a model for managing architectural risk through Ownership, Accountability and Transparency.
 

Stuart writes regularly for Architecture & Governance Magazine and QC Guy, covering enterprise architecture, IT governance, technical debt, digital sovereignty and quantum computing. His LinkedIn newsletter, Architecture Without the Bull, delivers daily lessons from real architecture practice to a growing audience of architects, technology leaders and delivery professionals.

When he is not dismantling ivory-tower thinking or negotiating consequential decisions, Stuart lives in the UK with his wife, who reminds him that knowledge has no bounds, and their cat, who serves as the household's Chief Interruption Officer.
